About Me

Hmmm, an eclectic taste in music eh?  Somone will probably correct me and say its not eclectic at all.  Feel free!  I seem to have spent so much of my hard earned, not going far enough cash on CD's over the last couple of years.  The last time I bothered to count up roughly how many 'Albums' (great word that) I had it was well over the 200 mark.  I know to a lot of people 200+ CD's isn't a lot, but to me it is.

I used to absolutely hate 'classical' music, but after hanging round with Tom and George I have grown to like (indeed love) certain pieces of classical, and I now find myself spending money on Naxos CD's, but that's OK because they are cheap.

So whats been in my CD player lately?

You've Come A Long Way Baby by Fatboy Slim (it was the Adidas advert that started me off)
Fratres by Arvo Pärt (I am in love with a piece called Summa)
Homogenic by Björk (in fact anything from this Icelandic siren)
Anima Animus by The Creatures (try listening to Prettiest Thing very loudly)
Dracula (Ballet in Three Parts) by Phillip Feeney (time to hide behind the sofa)
Big Calm by Morcheeba (cos Sky Edwards has such a cool voice)
Psyence Fiction by Unkle (thank you to Damian for this one... "There's a rabbit in your headlights")
Attack Of The Grey Lantern by Mansun (many strange references to vicars here)

There are way too many CD's that I want to buy at the moment.  So if anyone wants to buy me any of the following, please feel free!!  I really like the sound of the new Reef album at the moment.  I heard a track from it on the radio the other night.   It was a lovely instrumental piece, sounded very retro, but unfortunately I can't remember what it was called.  The new Texas album sounds like it should be a corker too, although that's not out 'til the middle of May.  The Middle Of Nowhere by Orbital is another one that grabs my attention at the moment.

I need a job that pays better money!  On second thoughts, that is a bad thing, I would end up spending all my money on CD's!
